The most famous celestial phenomena are certainly the dawn or sunset. Shortly before and after sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening, the sky can show itself in the most beautiful shades of red. If impressive cloud images are added, the sight can be breathtaking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the reasons for the red colouring is that red light can penetrate our atmosphere better than the other colours in sunlight. Dust particles and water droplets filter out the blue part of the light from the spectrum (Rayleigh scattering) and the sky glows red. The most beautiful morning or evening red skies can be seen when, for example, a volcano or a bush fire releases large amounts of smoke and dust particles into the atmosphere. as romantic as that looks, so powerful and devastating are some of the causes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
