At some point, the occupation with astronomy always leads to the limits of understanding physical relationships. If you want to understand relationships, you have to be prepared to deal with the basics of physics or chemistry. Since we amateur astronomers feel the same way, we would like to describe some physical basics and methods in more detail on the following pages. In doing so, the repeatedly asked questions of the visitors of our Activities which we then try to explain as simply as possible.
Since we do not always have illustrative objects or didactically meaningful models available, we would like to take a closer look at some fundamental questions of astronomy on these pages.
